Yulia Brodskaya has rejuvinated the old craft of quilling and added her own style and flair. I’m not aware of anywhere to buy her work yet unless you are lucky enough to pick up one of the multiple publications who have commissioned her work. However you can get a gorgeous theme for Google Chrome or a T-shirt with her work on. The beauty of these images comes not only from… Read More »Yulia Brodskaya – Papergraphic
Stella Im Hultberg is a New York based, Korean born artist who creates amazing feminine artworks of raven haired skeletal women. Created using mixed media, particullarly oil and ink, often on tea stained paper. Emotive and striking, the images explore the fluidity of the media used and with subtle use of colour create a flowing and evocative and feminine images. In particular I love how she paints hair, exploring and… Read More »Stella Im Hultberg
The Czech artist Alphonse Mucha (24 July 1860 – 14 July 1939) is commonly recognised as the instigator of the Art Nouveau movement, characterized by organic, especially floral and other plant-inspired motifs, as well as highly-stylized, flowing curvilinear forms. His work typically has women as his subject matter and his fame grew when he created posters for the Parisian star of the time Sarah Bernhardt. [more] The colours and lines… Read More »Alphonse Mucha

I discovered his work at the same time as Samuel Flores in San Francisco's Upper Playground gallary: Fifty 24SF. The Last Koi Chapter #1 • 48″ x 48″ acrylic on canvas The print is also available as a Gelaskin for… Read More »Blaine Fontana
Puddnhead is the 'secret' identity that artist Kevin Llewelyn uses for his commercial work. But both his commercial work and his personal work are amazing and worth checking out. He is an amazing figure and creature artist and I love his use of colour. Be warned though his work is dark, offbeat and are almost exclusively NSFW. If you want to see more of Kevin's work then take a peak… Read More »Puddnhead (Kevin Llewelyn)
Samuel Flores is a San Francisco based artist that often sells stuff through Upper Playground. His work is very distinctive, often including characters with enlarged heads and hands. I like this image as the bridge reminds me of the bridge in the Tea Gardens in San Francisco. I was amazed by the city and hope we can go back soon.
Audrey Kawasaki is a talented artist from Los Angeles. Her beautiful artwork is jaw dropping and I really recommend checking out her website. Although not explicit some of her art could be considered NSFW, so perhaps save the link for viewing from home. Her work is for sale at various galleries, but it in high demand, so your best bet it to sign up to the newsletter and wait for… Read More »If only you were here by Audrey Kawasaki
While browsing the web I often find images that amaze me, so I'm going to post links to those that I find. The aim is help promote their work and give credit where it is due. It also doesn't hurt to add a bit of colour to my site and if you like the same things as me you can subscribe to the RSS feed and add a little colour… Read More »Butterfly by noah-kh
